If prior experience is any guide, nothing of general interest is likely to be published here, and nothing at all is likely to be published frequently. It will probably remain what it has been for years, a place for friends and family to exchange documents, code, and data.
So why, all of a sudden, another attempt at blogging? And why here, instead of Facebook and Twitter like the rest of the world?
Well, this weekend I was lucky enough to reconnect with friend Dan, and family Rich and Sandra, all of whom have nice blogs. It seemed such a good way to keep up with people. (OK, I’m a bit behind the curve.) Sandra said she updates hers once a month or so, a schedule which even I should be able to manage.
So here it is. It’s all about us.
